Big News in the Kern Family… 2011
We started our 2011 with an adorable little dog(my Christmas gift).
He is a Corgi and his name is “Gus Gus”. He has been a great addition to our family and has a great “dog” sense of humor.
The months went by quickly to Tim’s Graduation from H.S. Mom was not so excited as Tim is our youngest and it meant there were a lot of “lasts” for our family.
Tim decided to go to WCTC for Graphic Design, however, the program was full so he is currently working on his Printing Diploma. This past week he received his letter of acceptance into the Graphic Design Program for fall of 2012. He is very excited. Can you see Tim doing charactures at a booth at State Fair? OR maybe designing tattoos? He still enjoys pick up soccer games too!
Jordan is working on his Criminal Justice Degree and enjoying the classes. He is also working at Pick n Save in our area. Jordan has been challenged this past year and has stepped up to the plate as they say very nicely. We are very proud of him. Jordan also has gone with Wally to several Reptile show this past year.
Christopher has gone through several changes this year and has grown and matured through each challenge. He is working hard and being trained for a management position at Valvoline in town. He is also enjoys playing soccer when he get the chance.
Wally completed one of the biggest projects in his career this past fall. It was a 2 year project and was very successful. Supreme Gecko(www.supremegecko.com) is growing and going strong. It’s unbelievable how many geckos one can fit in a basement Wally and the boys have attended several Reptile Shows this year to sell and educate people on the gecko hobby.

I am still doing daycare before and after school only. Now, before you start to think I have all that free time – wrong! I am busier now than ever! I am involved in Bible study and Sunday School at church, work “part time” for Supreme Gecko, working on my blog and my business – Creative Memories. As if all that wasn’t enough I have taken the Extreme Couponing challenge with some good friends. We are learning so much and having fun saving money! I really thought that I would be lost when the kids were all out of school, but I am busy now and loving it. I have learned a ton this past fall in my Bible study on Gratitude and look at life a little differently now. It has been a year of challenge and growth for me.
You wondering what the big news is ?
Well, Wally and I are going to be grandparents this December. Jordan and his girlfriend, Michelle will be adding a blessing of a baby girl to our family this month.
Isn’t that exciting … watch for pictures!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
May you be blessed throughout the new year.
