Praying for your kids…

I believe praying of our kids is very important and there are several ways to do that. One of my favorite ways is to pray scripture verses for them. This type of praying is done by finding a verse and inserting their name into the verse when praying it. How do you find the verses? Well, I have been given a list of verses years ago from a family member. A few years ago I found a new list from Pray Magazine. They had prayer cards available for several different areas in our lives. I purchased a package of the “31 Biblical Virtues to Pray for your kids.” The card has 31 areas in our kids lives to cover in prayer and they matched a verse for the specific area. I decided that for the next 31 days I will share one of the verses with you.
Note: They have written the verse in a prayer so when you look up the reference it will not be exact to the verse in the Bible.

Prayer #1 – Salvation – “Lord, let salvation spring up within my children (insert their names here), that they (insert their names) may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.” 2 Timothy 2:10
