I decided and committed that I would tackle a couple things this year -

“1. I really need to lose weight – I know you all are thinking that is everyones resolution, but I really do have to work at this more this year. So I have decided that I am going to be more committed to it this year. I am working on better meal planning and exercising more ( our new dog loves to walk – so we will together – we already are!) I plan on posting pictures of my progress as well. This has been a life long struggle and its time to get it done right!”

Well, I was trying to do this myself for the month of January and decided I was not doing well at all. I decided (with a little encouragement) to join Weight Watchers (again).         I went back on January 28th and was very frustrated when I got on their scale to see that I have gained more weight and have more to lose. But after the meeting I did a lot of soul searching and decided I am going to work hard at this and not give up. It’s my health and body and I need to take care of myself! I know I have a lot to lose, however, I am focusing on losing 10 lbs at a time.

Weight Watchers has changed their program and it is actually easier than I thought it would be. Fruits and vegies are FREE! Yippee!

Week 1:
* I read the program and made a couple of notes for myself
* I joined on Friday but started on Monday (needed to read the info and get organized)
* I tracked everything I ate daily
* I measured and weighed my food
* I pulled out my Walk Away the Pounds dvd and did it a couple of times (1 mile walks)
* I lost 3.2 lbs my first week!

Week 2 is going good … I will let you know how I am doing each week.
