Clothes rack or exercise machine?
Ok, so Week 2 wasn’t the loss I wanted but I still did lose. I varied my food choices a little and didn’t weigh as closely. Busy week.

This week I decided that the piece of machinery in the corner of my bedroom should be cleared and dusted off. Yes, I am referring to our treadmill “clothes rack”. It hasn’t been used in at least a year! I had to have my son come in and force the belt to move since it was stuck from not being used. Once that was done I put on my tennis shoes, the TV, had a bottle of water ready to go and pressed start. WHOA! Tim had set the speed and it was way TOO fast for me. I figured the out how to change the setting – here I go. Next step was to discourage our new dog from trying to catch the track as it moved. After about 15 minutes of all this I was ready to go. It went pretty smoothly for the first time and I was so interested in my TV show I didn’t notice I had walked for 45 minutes! What a good feeling that was.
I struggle with the treadmill because I feel like I am wasting time and need to do something while I am walking. Reading doesn’t work, music isn’t good either. So I decided I would watch TV while doing it. That seemed ok – still not my favorite.
Week 2 progress:
* I tracked fairly well not as good as last week
* I walked a couple of miles throughout the week – tried my treadmill instead of it being a clothes rack
* I still weighed and measured
* I did not drink enough water
* I did lose 1.2 lbs
