Egg Breakfast Bake
1 pound bulk pork sausage, bacon, or ham (cooked)
6 cups cubed bread
2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
10 eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons ground mustard
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Step 1: Cube the bread (use a serated knife for easier cutting)
Step 2: Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper in one bowl.
Step 3: Mix meat and cheese in a bowl.
Step 4: Place half the cubed bread into the greased 9×13 pan; top with 2 cups of the meat and cheese. Repeat the layer.
Step 5: Pour the egg mixture over the bread layers.
Step 6: Bake at 350 for 50-55minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serves 12 people
This can be mixed up and refrigerated the night before. Just bake in the morning.
