My Latest Book
In 2002 I was given the opportunity to go to Scotland with my mom and sister. Looking forward to sharing the memories in over 1200 pictures meant that something other than printing the pictures had to be done. After scrapbooking for a couple of years it was time to tackle a big project. You see, this trip was special because I was able to see the places my Nana had told me about when I was a little girl. The second reason it was special was because I was able to go with my mom and sister Jackie.
Scrapbooking entails using an album that is lignin and acid free to preserve the pictures, cropping the pictures, stickers, and most important is the journaling. Recording the memory is important so that later down the road others can have a history of your family. It took me several hours to organize the pictures, get the right papers and stickers to accent the pages, and journal the memories. My scrapbook is complete and for all the enjoy.
More to come … including the story behind the picture in this post.
