Gingerbread men -  I like how cute they look.  I like gingerbread men so much my kitchen in decorated with gingerbread men!  

Today I wore a pair of socks with candy canes on them. I love candy canes - I like to just eat them -but my favorite thing is to put them in my hot cocoa!!

Last night I posted on Facebook saying tomorrow's December 1st - do you know what that means? The first response was SOCKS! Yes that is exactly what I was thinking! So this morning I was in the attic looking for the secretly marked boxes of my treasured box of socks! I collect socks for holidays and Christmas is the most fun for me! I have enough different pairs that I wear a different pair every day in December. On Christmas Eve I take my sock basket and change throughout the day. It's fun to see my nephews faces' when they realize I did it again! My own boys have a good time trying to hide them from m

Thankful #4 - my church. It is great to be a member of a Bible believing and preaching church. I know when I go on a Sunday I will be taught from the Word of God and it can be applied to my life. Our pastors are awesome!

Thankful # 3 - my Saturday morning breakfasts out with Wally. It is something that we are trying to do each week - just by ourselves on a Saturday morning. We have a good breakfast and just chat with each other. Special times

Thankful #2 -  Answered prayers I have always known that God answers prayers when we pray. Sometimes the prayers are answered the way I want and other times they are not.  There are even prayers that are unanswered at times. Over the past 2 months or so I have been on my knees multiple times asking, praising, and begging God  in my prayers.  I can say God has been very faithful and has blessed us with many answered prayers (the way I was hoping for).  Thank you God for answered prayer!
